Highway to Jetpur

Once we left Ghadhada and came onto the local highway road, the ride was much smoother and less hazardous. The way drivers drive vehicles, whether they are small car drivers or truck drivers is always dangerous and requires that the driver you are going with is an experienced driver. Most private travel agents provide a rental car with driver and we recommend that you do that. You see lots of two wheelers on both sides of the ride driving on highway without the helmet, yes without helmet. Usual speed limit is 50 to 60 Kms, but again depends on your capacity to drive :-) Sometimes you see the policemens driving on highways does not follow the law and will overtake though they will see another vehicle coming from the other side. Sorry, but thats how things work here, lots of traffic understanding is required :-))
