28th August, 2005. I wish to bring the misbehaviour by the Driver and Conductor of Volvo Service between Tirupathi and Bangalore (12.15pm service ex Tirupati) on 21.08.05. As most of the passengers were returning after the early morning darshan and were too tired and exhausted due to hot weather, I personally requested the conductor and the driver not to play the video. Depsite my request, the conductor switched on the video and deliberatley kept the volume so high that there was a huge nosie pollution inside the bus. It disturbed all the passengers and deprived them of a good rest which many were looking forward to after having spent sleepless night. This is because the conductor wanted to oblige one of her own friends sitting in Seat No 1. When the bus stopped for lunch at Nandini Garden Hotel, there was such a huge rush due to simulataneous arrival of many buses. Hence Me and my family could not find a place to sit and had to take our turn. By the time we had our lunch and returned to the bus, the Driver and the conductor shouted at my wife and me, much to our embarrassment. When i tried to explain the reason which he was very much aware of, the driver simply brushed aside and kept using abusive language. This prompted the conductor to further increase the volume of the video when the journey commenced towards Bangalore and by the time the bus reached Bangalore, we were not only feeling exhausted due to the journey but also the noise pollution. If the intention of KSRTC is to provide a comfortable, pleasant and peaceful journey for its passengers, such rude behaviour of the crew can nullify all the efforts. When I requested for the Feedback from, the conductor bluntly said that it is not available and she also did not have baggage tags and scribbled my costly suitacse with unerasable chalk. Will KRSTC compensate me for defacing my costly, imported suitcase? If KSRTC means business and intersted in providing a good service toits passengers, please discontinue playing of video or musinc in long distance buses as it is more a nuisance than a luxury. Trust KSRTC will give serious thought to this and enquire into the behaviour of the Driver, Sri. Kempiah and Conductor on Bus No KA-01-F-7217 on 21.08.05. My ticket No for the journey was 4594946, 1215BNG. Thanking you. C S Venkataraman.
hi! my suggestion is specialy for public transport companies is why they doesn't use C.N.G. {compressed natural gas} as a fuel instead of diesel? i agree that it is expensive to change the engine for C.N.G. but , by using C.N.G. they can save Rs.- 10 to 15 per litre of diesel. also C.N.G. is less pollutant than diesel. thanking you! yours faithfully gvvineet
rsrtc busses are driven left right, centre .even extreme left exclusively for cyclysistsand 2 wheelerspace.advice them to behave as they are not kids to drive as they like. Abhishek Srinivas Rajasthan, India
I am glad that MSRTC is having very vast, effecient network allover Maharashtra, and it is common man's best mode of transport, all over Maharashtra. Unlike any other State Transport, I envy MSRTC service, and the top to bottom people working around the clock, for its effeciency. But to my surprise, MSRTC has left one MAJOR ROUTE, untouched, where MSRTC can have handsome revenue as well as serve the people better. THE ROUTE IS ; BORIVLI - BHAYANDAR. on this route manym BEST buses ply with overcroweded manner. The private vehicle such as CALL CENTRE vehicle etc. also, make a good fortune by taking people from these route. But The commuters, are so much, that, even BEST failed to provide proper service on this route. ST also failed to provide bus service between BORIVLI-BHAYANDAR. Many people like me afried to get into the train, because it is overcroweded, even First Class pass is of no use, then, very same people turns to BEST for alternative, when BEST is also not upto the mark, private vehicle, grab the situation. Now let me show you an example how people like me travel from Mira-Bhayandar Road, to Borivli & Back, We catch share Rikshaw upto Kashimira by paying Rs.5/- then catch ST (Thane Borivli) where we spent another Rs.6/- Still I personally feels, ST services are most effecient. ON BEHALF OF PASSENGERS OF MIRA BHAYANDAR - BORIVLI, I express this concern, and hoping there are many more passengers who are also facing the same type of difficulty. Hope We the people will defenitely get ST service on this route shortly. Best Regards, Unni. Menon
Hi All, I have travelled from Sagar to Bangalore in Mayur Bus with my family membes on 31.5.2005. I was happy when I have booked for the same. Afterwords, I came to know that Mayur Bus is not volvo bus but bus fare is as good as Volvo bus.I have paid Rs270/- each printing in the ticket that ticket is for volvo bus. The bus which I have travelled was not at all maintained well the seat which I reserved was 25,26, ... the bus was fitted with Air cooler not A/C it was very hard time for us withstand cold inside the bus; outlet unit along with speaker fell down and coolling effect inside the bus particularly around my seat was horrible. I was told by the conductor that cooling cannot be controlled!!!! The driving is not satisfied since driving was bit rough while jumping humps on the road. Hoping that KSRTC will improve over a period of time, and other passengers might come across this note, so that they can prevent the situation in advance. Ramesh
