23rd Feburary 2008 :  We were very busy in collecting and composing the information on tourism in India. We start herewith by publishing four pages namely for Gujarat Tourism, Rajasthan Tourism, Tamilnadu Tourism and Andhra Pradesh Tourism. The pages offer help on the tourism services offered by the tourism corporations in the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh. As we gather more and more information about other states tourism corporations, we will release more information.

11th July, 2007 :  Bus services from private luxury transport providers like KPN Travels & Prasanna Tours added for search. Office addresses of Prasanna Travels and KPN Travels added for bus ticket booking by phone. Bus routes from APSRTC, RSRTC, KSRTC, SETC, PEPSU, GSRTC, MSRTC and UPSRTC updated with distance and kilometer information where it was available.

15th June, 2007 :   Regular bus route updates with departure time and bus fare is made for KSRTC, APSRTC, SETC, DTC, GSRTC, KTC, Kerala bus services and all other state road transport corporations.

27th March, 2007 :   We are about to launch our new website with better look and feel, better performance, more features, transportation forums, tour operator reviews, user polls and with absolutely aaccurate data, so Please check back soon.

26th March, 2007 :   Currently we are in the process of updating KSRTC and APSRTC bus fare, departure times and bus station information. More and more travel and tour operators are joining everyday, so check out often.

13th January 2007 :   Luxury bus services operated by Maruti Tours & Travels is now available for search. Maruti tours and travels office is located at Paldi, Ahmedabad Gujarat. Luxury buses for Ahmedabad - Surat and Ahmedabad - Pune is provided by Maruti Tours & Travels.

23rd December 2006 :   Information on Indore City bus transportation services is added. New public bus transportation system has been introduced in the city of Indore. This will provide regular bus services to major places within the city of Indore.

14th December 2006 :   Update to the APSRTC reservation counter addresses. New Addresses added for KSRTC reservation as well. As more and more data is available we will keep on posting the new information about public state road transport corporations.

7th October, 2006 :   New Travel agents have arrived, namely Eagle Travels of Rajkot and Shreyas Tours & Travels from Ghatkopar East, Mumbai. More luxury and volov bus service providers between Ahmedabad to Mumbai than everbefore giving Passengers and tourists more choices to choose their suitable bus operator. You will now be able to search their luxury bus services and tour offerings on IndiaTransit.com. Tour Booking office addresses with telephone numbers are added for search.

1st October, 2006 :   New Bus routes from Jaipur to Delhi and return trips from Delhi to Jaipur are added for public search. Special page for buses from Ahmedabad to Rajkot is also added providing better and accurate information to the public.

30th September, 2006 :   Lots of people requested us to add bus routes for Assam, Himachal Pradesh and the upper north east india region. We have added buses provided by ASTC - Assam State Transport Corporation. Buses runs from Guwahati to Tinsukia, and it goes via Dispur, Nagaon, Demow, Teok, Dibrugarh and to the final destination Tinsukia. Between Guwahati and Tinsukia, Night Super Delux buses, Executive class buses, Super Fast Delux are available during the day time and night time. ASTC also provides online booking through its travel agents across Assam.

15th September, 2006 :   New bus routes added run by Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation known as APSRTC. Some of the bus routes are now updated with latest departure times and bus fares. New buses from Vijayawada to Bangalore and Vijayawada to Chennai are added. Buses from Addanki to various parts in Andhra Pradesh are also added to the fleet of bus route information. New Travel agents have joined us from Mumbai, Tirupathi, Ahmedabad and other parts of India.

4th July, 2006 :   Yes, It took a while again for us to come back with more news on India transportation. We have added travel agents search facility for India. Again our primary focus is always the road transportation with public transportation and private transportation provided by individual travel agents or tour companies in different states and cities of India. Most importantly its all free to users, at no cost. We believe that we as a public should have access to public transportation information at no cost to us. 24th April, 2006 :   Tour data added for the tours run by Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd. Users can search the tours data based on the dates, budget and destinations. Tours data listed includes the Privately owned Tour Operators tours and Tourism Development Corporation run tours. TCGL runs Kutch - Dholavira package tour - Ahmedabad, Kutch - Dholavira package tour - Baroda, Majestic Tour Of Gujarat, Saurashtra Darshan Tour, North Gujarat & Rajasthan Tour, Pancha Dwarka Yatra Tour. More Tours run by TCGL are also being currently looked at to include for user search.

10th April, 2006 :   More India Tourism related data is now available on IndiaTransit.com previously known as IndiaTransit.com. Users can search for office addresses of Tourism Development Corporations and can find the phone, fax or email addresses. We have started with Gujarat Tourism Information Centers, Kerala Tourism Information Centers, Tamilnadu Tourism Information Centers and Delhi Tourism & Transportation Information Centers.

5th March, 2006 :   One of our active user Mr. Nitinbhai (Palanpur) has sent us information on express bus schedules & regular bus schedules operating from Palanpur or going through Palanpur. We are very thankful to him for sharing such information that other people can use. We thank from the bottom of the heart for sharing such information with us.

5th January, 2006 :   Buses run by Arunachal Pradesh State Road Transport Services APSTS are added for public search. Regular bus services from Ziro to Guwahati, Ziro to Nyapin, Ziro to Palin and other bus routes from Tezu bus station. Regular bus service schedules for Itanagar buses.

4th January, 2006 :   More bus routes added run by Rajasthan state road transport corporation RSRTC. AC Pink line, Starline, Sleeper and Super deluxe buses between Ahmedabad - Jodhpur, Jaipur - Delhi, Delhi - Jaipur, Jaipur - Jaisalmer, Jaipur - Haridwar and many more bus routes are added for public transportation search.

1st January, 2006 :   More private bus travel providers are now available. You can find luxury, deluxe, coach, interstate buses, intercity buses run by Ashwa Megah Travel Agency Ahmedabad, Punjab Travels Ahmedabad, Sahjanand Travels Ahmedabad, Raj National Express buses Mumbai, Paulo Travels Goa. Online search option for all these private transport providers are available for public search.
