BSTDC Overview

BSTDC provides transit service to tourists for local site seeing as well as outstation sites. It provides bus services to the neighbouring state of Delhi from Bihar. Corporation has its own fleet of several Buses, Cars, Vans etc. which can be given on hired basis at a very moderate rate. Corporation runs buses connecting the airport to various locations in the state of Bihar, providing transit service to its passengers at a very competitive rate.

General Instructions for Student Pass

• All Charges are Garage to garage.
• Booking will be confirmed against full estimated advance.
• For hill station trips milege covered on the hill shall be charged 20% extra of the basic rate.
• For interstate booking , passenger tax, Permit Fee, tall Tax, Road tax will be charged extra as applicable.
• Rates are subject to change without Prior notice.
• No decoration shall be allowed on the hired buses.
• Cancellation charged will be levied as per the rules of corporation.
• Light vehicle hired for marriage shall be charged double the rate of local package. Contessa/ Sumo/Esteem car hired for marriage purpose shall be charged Rs. 2200.00/- 4 Hrs, 60 Kms. Any extra km or time shall be charged extra as regular tariff.

Cancellation or Refund Information

• Passengers are requested to reconfirm their booking 24 hours prior to the departure of coach.
• Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
• Extension is allowed only 48 hours prior to the departure time. Extension per ticket can be obtained only once. Extended tickets are not refunded on cancellation.
• The ticket is issues/cancellaed/extended/refunded subject to the terms and conditions of BSTDC rules.
• 20% deduction of fare for journey tickets surrendered to the counter before 48 hours of the schedule time of departure of the bus.
• 25% deduction of fare for journey tickets surrendered to the counter before 24 hours of the schedule time of departure of the bus.
• 50% deduction of fare for journey tickets surrendered to the counter before 2 hours of the schedule time of departure of the bus.
• No refund on cancellations within 2 hours of departure or after the departure.
