Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh is well connected by road to the neighbouring states, with Tamilnadu in the south, Karnataka in the west, Maharashtra in north and northwest, Madhya Pradesh in the northeast. The state has the longest costalline among all the states in India. Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation provides passenger transport facility in the state. It runs intercity, inter district buses as well as inter state bus routes to the adjacent states are available. It is considered the largest state road transport corporation in the world due to its fleet, the number of miles coverage daily and the passenger volume. The state road transport corporation is very popular among people and is used more compared to the private operators in the state. Private transit facility is available too and is offered with the luxury, express and other special options to the pasengers. Due to the quality and timely service of the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, private transit facility providers are having a great deal of difficulty in competing. Just like every other States in India, it has State highway, local city roads, and district roads for public and private transportation. Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation is also known as APSRTC, and it has approximately 18000+ buses in its fleet. It runs luxury, express and other bus services to cater the needs of the passengers. The state has only one international aiport in Hyderabad. It is well connected to the city, and has regular bus services operating from the airport to the other city area. Car rental and private taxi hiring is available from the aiport at affordable rates. Andhra Pradesh has a total road network of 1,78,474 Kms. with about 12 national highways and state highway with a length of 8763 Kms.

Arunachal Pradesh

The Transit facility to passengers is provided by the Arunachal Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. It does not have any international airport. Arunachal Pradesh is located in the north-eastern part of India. Arunachal Pradesh is well connected by road to Assam.

Assam

The transit facility to passengers is provided by the Assam State Road Transport Corporation. It is located in the eastern part of India. It is connected by road to the neighbouring states, with Arunachal Pradesh in the north, Manipur & Nagaland in the east, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Nagaland in the south, West Bengal in the west. The road conditions in the state are not considered to be of good quality, and passengers and tourists to the state does complain a lot. Bihar

The state has Patna International airport. Gujarat

The State Of Gujarat is located on the mid-west coast of the Indian-subcontinent. Gujarat is well connected by road to the neighbouring states, with Rajasthan in the north, Madhya Pradesh in the east, and Maharashtra in the south-east. The gujarat road network is one of the best in the country. Gujarat state road transport corporation provides transit facility to passengers in the state of gujarat by running Intercity and inter district bus routes within the state of gujarat. It runs interstate bus routes to the adjacent states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The state road transport corporation also provides city services in some of the cities. Rajasthan

Rajasthan is located in the northwestern part of India. Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation provides public transportation facility in the State Of Rajasthan, and also runs interstate bus routes the neighbouring states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and to Delhi. Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation is known as RSRTC and has in its fleet air-conditioned, delux, super-delux and ordinary buses. The quality of the buses are of very good standard and are being acknowledged by passengers time and time again. Just like all other state road transport corporations, RSRTC too offers concessions to the SC and ST, freedom fighters, widows and families of soldiers who died in war. RSRTC has approximately 40+ depots from where its operating the intercity transportation as well as inter district and interstate bus routes. RSRTC also offers reservation facility on some of the bus routes.

Punjab

Punjab is located in the northwest part of India. It is well connected by road to the adjoining states, with Jammu and Kashmir in the north, Himachal Pradesh in the northeast, Chandigarh in the east, Haryana and Rajasthan in the south. Passenger transport service is provided Punjab State Road Transport Corporation, and is known as PEPSU. Amritsar international airport, is the only International airport in the state. The airport has good connections to Delhi, Chandigarh and Ludhiana airports. Private taxi is available from other international and domestic airports in Punjab. The state is connected to the adjoining states by National highways. The state has local roads, inter district roads and other road network. The state is known for maintaining the quality and surfacing of the roads, and having road connections to small villages. PEPSU has approximately 800+ buses in its fleet, having their own bus stands in Patiala, Sangrur, Kapurthala, Bhathinda, Talwandi Sabo, Budhlada, Faridkot, Fagwara and Ahmedgarh. PEPSU operates regular bus services to the cities and has connecting bus routes to the villages.

Haryana

Haryana is located in the northern part of India. Haryana is well connected by road to the neighbouring states, with Punjab in the north, Rajasthan in the west, Himachal Pradesh in the north and Uttaranchal in the east. It is very well connected with Delhi International Airport. PEPSU provides transit facility in many parts of Haryana and connecting buses to the Delhi International Airport. Punjab tourism runs regular buses from the Delhi International Airport to many parts of Punjab and Haryana. You can opt in at the airport counter for a private taxi. Airport connections are very easy from Delhi International Airport to any part of Haryana and Punjab.

Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh is located at the center of India. Uttar Pradesh is located in the northern part of India. TamilNadu

Tamil Nadu is located in the southern part of India. Tamil Nadu is connected by road to the adjoining states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala. The transit service to the passengers in Tamil Nadu is provided by the State Express Transport Corporation. SETC runs regular bus services as well as express and delux, semi-delux, air conditioned coaches. It is very popular in Tamil Nadu.
