I started from Tirunelveli by your SETC Bus (874 UD, 6:00 pm) yesterday (13/03/2007). It had reached "Madivale-Bangalore" at 10am (14/03/2007). It was 3- 4 hr late. Because of that, I was very late to office today. The driver (from tirunelveli to selam) drives the bus very slowly. Please request them to keep time to reach the place at correct time. Otherwise, tell us this is real fact. Then we are trying to avoid traveling in SETC Bus and report to higher people regarding this. Please take a serious action regarding this. If next time happens, sure I will report to higher people.Regards, Customer comments by email dtd. 3/14/2007
MSRTCMaharashtra Vahatuk BhavanDr Anandrao Nair MargMumbai CentralMumbai 400 008Dear Sirs,This letter I am writing to put forth the woes of travellers from Pune to areas such as Dombivli, Kalyan, Ambarnath and surrounding areas. While there is a good train service between the two cities covering the above stations, there is a total chaos at such hours of the day, when there are no trains to go to these places.I myself work in Dapodi, Pune and have to travel by road many times since it is not possible to get the train in evening i.e. Indrayani or Intercity due to urgent work in office. In such situation we end up going to Chinchwad, where there is a total chaos. There is a small booth of MSRTC manned by a conductor who is running around, but cannot cope with the nuisance being created by the private pliers thereby making it difficult for the MSRTC buses to halt and allow the passangers to board your buses. In fact there is such a rush to go to Mumbai that the Jeeps/Qualis/Taveras make a brisk business under the nose of MSRTC, who is supposed to be caring for the common man.I am surprised that there are very few buses to go to areas like Dombivli and Kalyan and I feel that MSRTC thinks that in Mumbai people only stay in Dadar, Sion since all the MSRTC buses are operating to these destinations. Another problem being faced by the commuters is that people who take super buses to go to Kalyan Dombivli, get down at Kalamboli to cross over to the road leading to Thane/Mumbra to catch buses for Dombivli/Kalyan coming from Panvel bus stand. It is very dark at Kalamboli and risky to cross over to come to the road /corner where the commuter can board bus to take them to Kalyan Phata. In fact for single mens it is OK, but if someone has some elderly person or ladies with him, it is very risky to cross on this road at Kalamboli and escort them to the corner for getting buses for Kalyan/Dombivli. It must have been now over 10 years that the Super-express highway is built, but the MSRTC has not taken notice of this. In fact what is needed is that the buses coming from Panvel should be brought to the spot where the passangers coming from Pune get down and then the buses can turn to go to Taloja side. Is the MSRTC wtiting for instances like robberies or murders or accidents to take place for starting such a service.I will narrate here a normal schedule if I am going to Domblivli from Chinchwad1. Go to Chinchwad, stand in the crowd, watch the acrobats done by your conductor to move away the private pliers from the spot where the MSRTC buses are supposed to stand. In the waiting time we see at least 5-10 private vehicles take at least 10 passangers in each of their vehicles, to Bombay, charging Rs 150 - 200 each irrespective of where the passanger is getting down, depending upon the Demand-Supply situation. 2. After sometime we either take a bus or private vehicle, get down at Kalamboli where it is very dark, then by risking our lives, cross over to the other side where buses from Panvel come at the corner. After waiting for considerable period, they take any transport to come to Kalyan Phata and at Kalyan Phata take a bus coming from Navi Mumbai.3. So my journey is not complete until I have changed at least 3-4 vehicles. What I do not understand is when the private pliers can make such a brisk business, for whom is the MSRTC waiting to tell them that they(MSRTC) also can earn good amount of revenue if they provide a bus service from Pune/Chinchwad to Kalyan Dombivli or at least to Karjat, from where the commuters can be on main route of central railway. Your answer to this will be there are Mumbai buses( going by he old Pune-Mumbai road) going to Panvel bus stand, but the problem is that the already delayed passanger wants to make it early and cannot afford to waster time at Lonavala bus stand, where your buses wait for at least 15-20 minutes and after coming to Panvel, again there is a mess for getting bus for Dombivli Kalyan. In fact MSRTC should understand that there are human establishments beyond Kalyan also, like Asangaon, Titwala, Ambarnath and Badlapur.May I request your intervention to resolve this hardship experienced by the commuters to Kalyan /Dombivli? Thanking you,Yours sincerely,Customer Comments by Email dtd. 3/14/2007
The pathetic condition of the KSRTC buses needs immediate attention. With the onset of the monsoon most of the buses are leaking or without proper shutters.Action on war footing is needed to be taken as otherwise this public utility service which most of us are proud of will soon become a real curse to the society.Customer comments: 29th May, 2006

B.N.Visweswaraiah. Bangalore-560002. Sub: - Seating, and driving suggestions.Dear Sir, World wide in the buses seats are not fixed scientifically, or sense fully, my words are as true as this earth is round and not flat. However, when the same words were told by the great Italian scientist Mr. Galileo, the people stoned him to death. In eighty's when Maruti company contacted all the major car manufacturing companies world wide but nobody even replied except Suzuki, today what all those manufacturers could feel. In addition, the great scientist Mr.Ein stin, worked as a Hotel waiter, because even intelligent many times fail to understand another intelligent people. Sir there are only few percent of the Buses are luxury (each and every state calls in different names like Rajahamsa, Hi-tech, and so on) and no one can wait perticularly for those Buses. So my request is to fix at least 20% of the comfortable seats like luxury (Rajahamsa or Hi-tech) in each and every bus. People will ready to pay for comforts, but you people should provide more and more opportunities. Moreover, while fixing comfortable seats one should think which axel should get more weight to get more mileage. Back wheels are the drive wheels for the Buses so back wheels must get more weight to get more mileage, and also which will reduce the vibration at the back part of the bus. I am having a design in which the seats and belts are fixed the passengers will not hurt even in case of an accident. For which I would like to get the patent rights, but I do not know how to get it.All most of all vehicle drivers exhilarate the vehicle even after watching the red signal light, which will burn Diesel, money, and makes more pollution. Generally, I watch signal lights from as long as I could, and plans to exhilarate or to switch off the vehicle or push the gear to neutral. After exhilarating the vehicle they have to break hardly at the signal spot, again which leads to wear and tear of the parts like Break Shoes, Tyres, and even the Road. These are some of the points which you people should train the drivers along with other information's.Thank you, yours faithfullyB.N.Visweswaraiah.Customer Comments: 16th May, 2006
Urinal's usage in Toilets at Majestic bus station is free where as people sitting and charging 2/- if not paid throwing forciably which is not a polite way. When enquired for AC bus to Kottayam got Air bus tickets. I got frustated by seeing buses going infront of my eyes whereas I had to stay 4 hours for Airbus.Customer comments: 9th May, 2006
